User ID and Password FAQs
How do I access online services?
The first step in getting access is registration. You will need to answer
the question "Do you already have a User ID and Password?"
- If yes, enter in your existing User ID and Password. You can use
the same User ID and Password for most services on the site.
- If no, click on the "Go" button within the "No" box on the page (signifying
you have not registered online for a service). You will create a User
ID and Password to begin the registration of your account, then click
on "Continue" and go to the registration for the specific service.
Generally, you'll need to enter five key pieces of data to identify
yourself and verify ownership.

Why do I get the message "User ID already
in use" when I am trying to create an ID?
This message indicates that another online user has already selected
the User ID you are trying to create. You will need to select another
User ID, and you may need to be creative. For ease, try to create a different
User ID by adding numbers to your original choice (e.g., travis2) using
a memorable number, such as the date or year of your birthday (e.g.,
travis1977).

When logging in, why do I see the registration
page when I have already registered?
This generally happens when you have incorrectly entered your User ID.
Because the User ID is not the same one you initially registered with,
the site assumes you are a new user. To retrieve the correct (initial)
User ID, you will need to contact
us.

Can I use the same User ID and Password
for multiple services?
We recommend keeping your personal access separate from your business
access, and therefore having different User IDs for each.

Is my confidential information secure?
Yes. To protect your information, we take the following security precautions:
- Whenever we ask you to send confidential information over the Internet,
including personal account data, we require that a secure session using
SSL first be established.
- To access account information, we require that your browser employ
128-bit encryption.
- When you register for online account access, we ask you to provide
personal information to authenticate your identity.
- You choose your own User ID and Password during the registration
process. You are the only person who knows your Password, and you can
change it at any time.
- When you register, we ask you to answer a security question. We use
the answer to verify your identity if you forget your Password and
need to reset it online.
- Secure areas of the site have built-in timers that terminate your
access after prolonged inactivity. When you finish viewing your account
information, you should log off from the site.
